Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Swap Rally ("we", "us") collects and how it is used. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the game, we never sell your information, and marketing is limited to a newsletter you explicitly opt into.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Device identifier: a random identifier generated on your device, used to keep your progress and purchases recoverable. It is not your hardware serial number and does not identify you personally.
Account information (only if you sign in): you can create an account with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google — these are currently the only ways to make one. From them we receive a stable identifier that those services assign you, your email address, and (on your first sign-in) your name, which we store as your display name. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever receive Apple's private relay address, never your real email. We do not receive your password.
Game data: progress, scores, unlocks, currency balances, and settings.
Purchase records: when you make an in-app purchase, we record the store transaction identifier and what was granted, so purchases can be restored and support requests resolved. Payment details (card numbers, billing) are handled entirely by Apple or Google and never reach us.
Push notification token: ONLY if you turn on push notifications in Settings, we store the delivery token Apple or Google issues your device so we can send them. Turning the switch off stops delivery; the token is kept disabled so re-enabling is instant.

2. HOW WE USE IT

To operate the game: saving progress, syncing across devices, restoring purchases, and providing leaderboards.
To provide support when you contact us.
To send a newsletter, ONLY if you opt in. You can opt out at any time.
To send push notifications, ONLY if you enable them in Settings. You can turn them off at any time.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use third-party advertising networks.

3. PLAYING WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT

You can play fully offline without an account. In that case your game data lives only on your device.

4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your account, progression, and leaderboard entries. Purchase transaction records are retained in anonymized form (no longer linked to you) as required for accounting and fraud prevention.

5. CHILDREN

Swap Rally is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. CHANGES

We will update the effective date and version when this policy changes, and the app will show you the current version.
